My dear friend is a private volvo only mechanic in the chgo suburbs. A long time ago I set up VIDA and a VCT2000 for him. We lucked into a DICE about 3 years ago and I got him a new Win7 Laptop and had 2010b working. I told him NEVER to let anyone else touch it or load anything on it.
Well he did and now after a week of trying to reinstall any and all versions, it just wont take. (the VIDA not OK Sql error) I need to find someone that is willing to sell a laptop with VIDA up and running, or someone local to reformat and load VIDA on his new laptop. Unfortunately I dont have the time this week to do it.
He knows there will be a expense involved. He has been a dear friend for over 20 years, and I have bought all my Volvo's from him. Just a good guy.
If anyone has a working laptop they can sell, or can give him some $$ labor time to fix his, please IM me.
