1998 S70 Error codes - P0107 and P1308

Post by aswresm »

Got error codes P0107 and P1308 ......first changed the acceleration sensor and the P1308 error code disappeared....Got anew Barometric sensor to fix error code P0107 and once installed I got the check engine light with both codes again (P1308 and P0107)...Now I am stuck with both error codes.....I kept looking online for any reason that might trigger both errors at the same time but no luck....Also I found a hanging brown sensor wiring connector coming from the same wiring harness that's feeding the Headlight , the Map sensor and the acceleration sensor...The thing is I have no Idea where this connector goes or connects to....It's a three bin brown connector with part number 977929 on it and it's made by Volvo.....Looked online and it says that it is a black connector for ac Map sensor but my connector is brown.....And also where is the Ac map sensor is located exactly.
I would greatly appreciate any inputs on this issue!!
Thanks

That is either for headlight wipers, if you do not have them, or fog lights.
If so, there will be another on the other side.

Whichever are not installed.

Another thought could be rear washer fluid pump for V70. In that case, just the one.

Either way, it is for an uninstalled option, and has the clip to hold it to the chassis at some point.

If I remember what I was recently told, the A/C sensor is also on the same circuit as the other 2 sensors.

I believe it to be the one at the back RH side of the engine compartment shortly before the A/C pipe heads through the bulkhead.

So that would be the low pressure ac sensor.......The one that is on the same circuit though would be the Ac high pressure switch.......Which is actually located underneath the Map sensor location....Please advice if I am mistaken...
Thanks

You are no longer talking about the un-used connection. It has never been used. It still has the rusty clip from assembly.
