2004 C70 Strut Bearing?

So I'm looking at a 2004 C70 HPT Stick Shift Convertible for sale... 96k, clean exterior, maybe a 6 or 7 on the interior, asking $4750. Seller says he believes the car will need upper strut bearings and maybe a strut or tie rod, due to the fact that under hard acceleration the torque steer is more to the right.
Also, while turning hard during parking, he can 'hear the strut bearings'.

I know very little about suspensions in general and nothing about the C70. (In another thread, I'm exploring whether driving it will cost me my 'Guy Card'. So far I might have to shave my legs.)

The serious question is.... based on this cryptic info, and keeping in mind that I'm a couple hundred miles away from this car.... what is likely / possible wrong and what ballpark is it to fix it. I can do brakes, electrical, interior trim, etc.... never messed with suspension.... so likely will have someone else fix those items.

At 96K the most likely issue are the stabilizer bar link rods (cheap and DIY) and the spring seats (not as cheap but under $100 for a pair and not really DIY if you don't have spring compressors and a ratchet gun)

Less likely @ this mileage are the control arms (getting costlier at Lemforder pricing of $300 for a pair)

Most of the front end is common 850 gear which is readily available.
