WTB S60 / S60R or C70 Stick Shift

Post by mikeamondo »

Posted a while back, but am now closer to buying... and I've expanded to include the C70

Looking for either.....
S60, 2001 to 2005, Turbo, Stick, must have leather, looking for under 130k, but would take higher for the right deal and a super clean car.

C70 - again, hoping for under 130k, must be stick, LPT or HPT either one ok. Up to 2004 may fit the budget. If you have either, let me know...

AND.... just let me cuss a moment.... about the number of automatic Volvos online listed as manuals. What a pain in the a!
Thanks!
Mike

...and the very first link in that search post us for a C70 automatic....

I've noticed this phenomena too, it's really a PITA when searching.

There are a lot of people who think that "manual mode" on an automatic is a " manual transmission" too.

Still looking .... and yes... a true PITA when people don't know what kind of transmission they own. Seriously... I was searching flights to Florida and almost ready to pull the trigger when a seller finally realized she had an auto. Had told me twice it was a manual, almost rudely, but luckily I pushed for pics of the shifter! Anyway... starting to shy away from the C70, but warming up to the idea of an S40 T5. Drove one the other day and it nearly ripped my head off! Also... I'm in West Virginia, so something east of Kansas City would be easier. Thinking about an 01 S60 T5 in san jose, but no idea how I would get it back here...
