Selling the XC. We picked up a newer car for the wife. How often has that been said

Understood that stuff won't sell without pictures - I hope to have time tonight to take a few.

Dark green exterior, Oak leather interior.

I bought the car with 122k miles on it in July 2013. It now has 152k on it, with a massive amount of nice, new OE (if listed as "OE" below, it means they were purchased from the dealership) or equivalent quality (mfg. listed below) parts. It is very good mechanically, and decent cosmetically. It's not a show car - but it was maintained with the thought that we would be driving this for the next decade (like every car should be...). I will post pictures tonight if I get a chance.

I installed an ARD-tuned ECU this past Spring. VERY mild - adds ~30-40 HP and ~40 ft-lbs torque. Keeps MPG decent, doesn't really make it massively more efficient, though. 17 city, 25 highway. 27 highway without the driveshaft hooked up. Just the right amount of pick-up.

Recent maintenance (will give a spreadsheet to the new owner with all date/mileage info):

Note: Compression (9/2013): 150, 145, 150, 145, 150
Oil changes every 4-5k with German Castrol (either 0W30 or 0W40, whichever is on sale) and Mann filter. Rotated tires at that time as well.
11/2014 - Installed newer OE headlights from the PNP. Old ones (good lenses, bad reflectors) come with the car
11/2014 - Oil Cooler Lines (OEM)
10/2014 - Brakes - Front driver side caliper and rubber hose. Front OE Pads/Rotors on both sides
9/2014 - Trans flush (manual style, not "power flush). Mobil1 Synthetic
8/2014 - Brake fluid flush (OEM fluid)
8/2014 - BRAND NEW OEM AWD driveshaft (this car has the late '98 - early '99 style AWD setup). System works flawlessly/noiselessly
7/2014 - MattyMoo rebuilt ABS module
4/2014 - Driver side front wheel bearing (SKF)
4/2014 - Driver side rear wheel bearing (National) and differential axle seal (OEM)
3/2014 - Rear pads/rotors (Akebono/Zimmerman)
2/2014 - Radiator, radiator hoses, coolant flush. Replaced cooler line o-rings and clips. All OE parts.
2/2014 - Headlight bulbs (Osram 65W)
2/2014 - Cabin Air filter (Mann)
1/2014 - Upstream O2 sensor (Bosch)
11/2013 - New tires. Michelin Defenders
9/2013 - Distributor cap/rotor (Bosch), spark plug wires (Bougicord)
9/2013 - 4-wheel alignment
9/2013 - Outer tie rod ends, inner tie rods, steering rack boots (Lemfoerder)
9/2013 - Spring Seats (OE XC90), upper strut mounts (Boge), front control arms (Lemfoerder), end links (OE), struts (Sachs 553-325), strut bellows (OE), bump stops (OE).
8/2013 - Upper engine mounts, lower torque trans mount (Hutchinson all)
8/2013 - PCV system rebuild (OE), fuel filter (Bosch), Bevel Gear Fluid (OE), Throttle Cable (Gemo), cleaned TB and IAC
7/2013 - Heater Core (Ebay Estonia), heater hoses (OE), firewall coupler (OE)
7/2013 - Checked all emissions hoses, cleaned evap filters, replaced rollover valve hose (OE)
7/2013 - Transmission Flush - not power, just manual flush (Mobil1)

Below is the stuff done before my ownership. TONS of records, only listing major stuff here. Coolant/brakes/power steering were all flushed regularly (at least 2-3 times each before 120k miles). Oil also changed regularly, every 4-5k, with thicker synthetic stuff (usually Mobil1).

8/2012, 118k miles - Timing belt, tensioner, front cam seals, water pump, crank seal. All OE parts
8/2012 - Front CV boots (OE), rear cam seals (OE), spark plugs (OE)
6/2007 - New Air pump (OE)

Two issues:
Passenger rear power window doesn't work. The motor works fine hooked up to my power supply - haven't had time to diagnose it further
Parking brake is weak - I adjusted it to be that way, since it sounds like the shoes scrape a bit while driving.

Alright, that's enough maintenance stuff. If that doesn't prove that this car has been mechanically well-cared for, nothing will!

All very good, sounds very well maintained, however you left out some major info like:
WHAT IS THE COLOR, the interior and the asking price? (eh!)

and of course you really need to post pictures

(never mind, saw price in the title not in the ad)
Mod note. Jim passed away in early 2022, his contributions to this forum are immortal, and he is missed. RIP

I don't like feelers but thank you for being upfront about it. What's really annoying is when people post a car for sale when they either don't really want to sell or their price expectation is delusional.

If you just want to value your car, please let me know and I can move the thread into the right forum where you will get more feedback.

Could you edit the title of this thread - it is no longer a "feeler". Interested in selling ASAP.

Dark green exterior, Oak leather interior. Sorry for the poor quality pictures - it won't stop raining here in MD, so I decided to just take 'em. Will upload better ones later if needed. I should also apologize for not cleaning the steering wheel yet - will have that nice and not dirty for the buyer..

Wish you were a bit closer to Raleigh, been looking for a v70 the last few months around here. It has been an exercise in frustration; "oh...when you said 'clean' you meant the water pump was leaking and cleaning the engine", 'sips a little oil' means the RMS is hanging in tatters, cam seals are blown out and PCV is so clogged that the dipstick ejects when the engine gets up to temp. Sorry for venting, wish i could find a nice clean well documented car like yours down here :)
