1999 s70 code 0014 lock-up solenoid signal too low

Post by coalvatis »

Hello all,

This is my first post and and I am glad I found this site. I have an 1999 s70 190k AWD turbo. and have the following problem I have an the flashing arrow and check engine light on. I pulled the codes with my reader and I have a 0014 lock-up solenoid signal to low. I recently had the car jacked up in the rear to change the wheel bearings and found that i had a trans leak in the front (due to fluid dripping ). finished the bearing change serviced the low trans (after warmed up) found out i had over serviced the trans so i siphoned some out. Took car out for test drive and this is when the code popped up. i checked the speed sensor (per another thread)on the trans and changed it out with a known good one. is the sensor supposed to wet or is the location that it is in the trans supposed to be a dry location for speed pickup (was wet when I pulled it). The trans still shifts fine with no problems but i do feel feel a slight bump (at highway speeds) when the code comes back. I have looked at many threads on this site but have yet to find help. what would cause the low signal to the lock up solenoid SL and how do i check for this and where ?

Thanks,,

Coalvatis
