1998 V70AWD Any Idea

I looked at the wiring diagram and the wire colors are: red, red/blk, pink/wht, orange/wht, violet/white, and black. I can see some of those colors among the 6 wires in photo but can't see the others well. The plastic piece connector is attached to is just a storage plug.

on my awd that is the alarm siren plug

Thanks for all the input's. I will check the drivers side, to see if there is a match. Is there a good resource for wire diagram. I agree it's your house Mat.

I took closer look and finally found it! Designated 16/35 in the diagrams:
1 ea.) Auxiliary siren with battery backup,sporting a 6 pin connector with:

Pin 1 - Red/Black
Pin 2 - Violet/White
Pin 3 - Orange/White
Pin 4 - Red (Constant)
Pin 5 - Pink/White
Pin 6 - Black (Ground)
Alarm - Underhood Locations.png
I've always wondered what that thing was... Nice! :mrgreen:
