98 S70 non-turbo Stalling, flooding,no starts

New guy here. First Volvo. These seem to be common issues with this model.Have tried the common fixes, fuel pump ,relay, filter, vac lines, cleaned flame trap and MAF. Any suggestions ? This old John Deere/GMC mechanic is about ready to send this piece of Viking engineering to Valhalla...

Not sure if you dumped it already.
Check Coil and or power stage to coil.
Sounds just like my daughters' car.

What diagnostic information have you taken? Throwing parts at a no-start is an expensive strategy.

Isolate to no-spark, no-fuel, no-compression as a start point.
