2000 v70xc Heater core hose clips missing

Post by pbob42 »

PO has removed my heater core hoses and my feet are getting cold. Got new hoses and a new core. I noticed that the black clip that is inside the tube going through the firewall is missing for the bottom hose. It looks like this is part of the aluminum tube. Can I get a replacement for this or do I need to replace the whole tube assembly?

thx

That is a great link. What about the black clips that stay in the tube? Can I replace those or do I need to do the whole tube?

If you look at the link, the simplest solution is to use generic heater hoses and done with.
Very cheap fix.

Post some photos of what you are referring to, this way people can help you effectively.
