Senility has taken hold here. I am adjusting the e-brake on my car, and suddenly can't recall if you have to have all 4 wheels off the ground and the car in Neutral to allow the rear wheels to turn. With the VC, I thought (probably wrongly from memory) that I should be able to rotate the rear wheel as both are off the ground. I was sure a week ago the rear axles turned this way, the only change is I now have the car on axle stands under the rear jacking points, whereas before I had the car on axle stands under the rear control arms. I am wondering if by allowing the axles to drop freely they are now binding up?
Help appreciated!
Neil.
