2000 s80t6 how to remove front bumper and raise buckled hood

we had a small fender bender. i'm trying to take the remaining front bumper off to get the hood up so i can decide whether to part it out or try to fix it. i did a lot of recent work on the s80t6 (like xemodex throttle body, new solenoid - so no pulsating throttle problem), so it was running great. it has 171k miles.

so, how do i get the bent bumper off, and how do i get the hood up? i don't want to damage anything.

(i already unbolted all i could see with the front bumper - but if feels tightly stuck. the buckle in the bumper may have caused the holes in the inside of the bumper to pinch against poles on which the bumper sits?)

Sorry you've had an accident! If it were me, given the bonnet is toast, I'd be running a cutting wheel across the bonnet (or around where the catch is) to see if that frees up the bonnet to lift up.
There's a lot of damage there...

thanks - got the hood open, just ended up prying it open. so, now i need to figure out whether to try to fix it or not.

here's the engine post accident

any idea how easy/difficult it would be to repair the damage? (i've located a couple of same model cars being parted-out)
