Xc90 bi xenon load resistors?
Need help--where exactly do I splice in load resistors if I'm upgrading my halogen headlights with bi xenons? (06 v8)

Actually load resistor alone won't help.
You need to use relay + load resistor and use alternate power source for low beam switched on by the relay.
+ if you have adjuster headlight will shine down. bi xenon adjuster is using different protocol.

If you have questions about Volvo firmware ask me. I may know an answer

I think this is about an HID bulb and ballast kit added to a halogen headlight unit. You know the ones that let you see better but piss off everyone you meet since the light scatters when HID is used w/o the correct reflector.

Dammit. 86 and ground on the relay? I have no idea how to do this and figured it would be easy as I've read from other boards about people doing this by simply wiring in a high wattage lightbulb into the headlight circuit, or a resistor over the DRL wires. Jimmy57 I'd like to use the factory xenons. HIDs on halogen reflectors = fail.
Anyway. Thanks for at least responding, not a single reply on the "other" msg board.
