2001 v70 "door open" message but latch sensor is working

Can anyone tell me where the pink wire in the driver side rear door terminates? My "door open" message is stuck on but I have tested the latch sensor and even grouded out the pink wire in the door and the message stays on... the only thing I can think of next is that the wire must be loose at the wiring harness somewhere. If anyone can tell me where that wire ends up or maybe if there is another problem that could cause that message it would be greatly appreciated
