Heated seats
Thanks Matt, but I think my car is too old for the recall. I own a 1993 850 GLT and the recall is only for 96-97 sedans and wagons...DARN! Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

They are fixed, they are fixed!!!!!!!!
After the dealer kept telling me "Thats the way they are" "they don't get too warm", they are now very toasty. Not MB warm but very good. Some sort of adjustment through a lap top computer of some sort the tech was using. I could not see too clearly what was being done, but who cares. IT WORKS!!!!!

i just purchased an xc90 and noticed that the seats were significantly warmer than my s60. i took it to the dealer and they told me i would have to pay 100 dollars since it was an upgrade to make my seats warmer. i never thought they got that warm to begin with, so i have to pay extra money for the seat warmers to get warm. I am considering not buying a volvo again

Let me add that it may make a difference whether you have cloth or leather seats. I had a 94 850 with cloth seats, and the seat heater was intolerably hot. Nice for some, but not for me. My currently has a 98 S70 with leather, and I have an 02 S60 with leather, and both get hot, but not very. They still get hot enough such that I can turn the passengers on without them knowing, then wait for them to complain about it being so dang hot in the car.

Having with my Volvo S60 the exact same problem. Imagine I turned them on during summer time and there was no heat at all. I turned them off after 10 - 15 minutes in order not to cause any problem.
