Rough idle, surging; codes thrown: P2188 & P0101
*sigh* I feel like I've been through hell & back with XC90 but I just can't let it go. Latest issue is the rough idle, surging and stalling which caused the above codes to be thrown. I replaced the MAS but no change. Worse when the car is cold. Surging is really bad. Anything other than the MAS that can cause the P2188 'System Too Rich' code?

Check for air leaks between the MAF and the ETM, also exhaust leaks between the head and upstream o2 sensor. Any disagreement in air quantities between the sensors and the motor "confuse" the system and trick it into running rich or lean depending.
