Re: Just how rare is your Volvo/ typos and continued questio

Sorry for above typos. I did use "tire rack" for a great deal on new tires and rims. Any advice on paint and clear-coat, ( cherry red) , as well as replacement mats would be helpful! I sincerely appreciate any help. I'm a single mom, doing most of the work and maintenance myself. I don't like being ripped off , going alone by dishonest mechanics. Thanks for your help ahead of time !

You will get more responses if you pose clear questions but the paint code is under the hood, steel tag on drivers side. Do a search for you other questions.

98 V70 SE T5. Canadian imported into the US. Temp controls in Celsius, Speedo swapped over to MPH. It has the "R" model seats, so black leather with charcoal alcantara diamond stitched centers. Also has Wood trim everywhere, including shift knob. Weird steering wheel as well, it's smaller, has plastic inserts on the top and bottom; and it's also leather wrapped.

I have the same model except I have the tan seats which do not age very well.
To change from C to F, hold down both the hour and minute button. It will cycle from army time to regular and C to F. I wish it could change L/100km to mpg. I grew up with mpg and am still more comfortable with it. The steering wheel is weird indeed, I don't like it. Full leather for me

That sounds like an interesting vehicle, is the body in good shape? Do you have over 220,000 miles? Do you want to sell?

I'll snap some pics tomorrow. The temp controls are in analog Celcius, Speedo and display is full US Spec. It had the CDM ligth switch, but swapped that out as I like having a bit of control over it :)

As for mileage, it has over 240k, well at least that's what the speedo says. It was quite oily/grimey and I've dumped a ton of cabbage into it already and probably if I tried to sell it, I wouldn't get nearly what I want for it, as it has a hard time running once it gets warmed up. Hopefully getting that fixed within the week.

Quick list of mods:
Blue Injectors
ARD Stg2 Green Tune
New PCV
Silicone Intercooler Hoses
MBC with Greddy Profec replacing it soon
Boost Gauge is going to be installed in Map Pocket
Koni FSD's
IPD Blues
Volans
C70 headlights
Euro corners
Black mesh grill
AEM Dry Filter
