Hi Guys,
Working on nephews PVC system. I got out the intake manifold and the interior has some build up of carbon and other assorted crud. It is immune to carb cleaner. I am sure the interior has same deposits. I have heard over the years about port polishing or basicly smooth air flow into combustion chambers. so the question is cleaning the inside of the intake manifold. Are there shops or services than can dip these things to clean out all the deposits? Is this worth it?

Who's to say the deposits aren't smoother for airflow than the raw aluminium casting which can be pretty rough straight from the factory.
Looks great when they're polished and deburred on the outside though:roll:
