My volvo was hit in a parking lot and the guy who hit me shattered the tail light, and left a buckle in the quarter panel. I received insurance money, and unfortunately a salvage title. I will have enough money for the repairs. My plan is to buy a used QP, repaint, and swap it out. Ive replaced the front fender on this car, with little trouble. But The rear quarter panel looks like its a little more tricky to remove...
Or my other option is to body work out the dent.. But wouldn't I have to remove the Panel to re-paint it anyways?
If anyone has done this can they please give me some insight??

I decided against replacing the quarter panel. wayyy too much work. I did order a new tail light. I installed it today. I was having the problem of the brake light staying on.. after messing with the socket I got it to work properly. Now my brake lights work correctly, blinkers, reverse lights, and running lights.
BUT: there is always something that has to be weird with these cars!! Now the bulb failure light on the dash wont turn off. I checked the fuses, they all *looked* to be okay. I never had a problem with the bulb failure light staying on until I was hit.
Could it be the bulb failure "relay"?

Bulb failure warning light
The light will come on if any of the following bulbs are defective:
one of the low beam headlights
one of the tail lights
one of the brake lights when the brake pedal is depressed.
Check the fuse and bulb. See sections titled "Replacing bulbs" and "Fuses".
Should the warning light come on after a defective outside bulb has been replaced, the corresponding bulb on the other side of the car should also be replaced.
