2003 T6 What to do with integrated phone

I just bought a 2003 S80 with an integrated phone. I know it's useless here in the States, so I wonder what I could do with that space? Also, is there a way for me to integrate the steering wheel controls and existing sound system with my iphone without replacing the radio? If I have to replace the radio, any suggestions regarding brand? Thanks in advance for your help! New to Volvo.
