The part of the power window mechanism that actually grips the window and attaches to the regulator itself keeps falling off its track. I've uploaded a screenshot, so hopefully you can see what I'm referring to. Anyway, while being raised and lowered by the regulator, the "holder" keeps swinging too far to the right, grinding up against the interior wall of the door, and popping off of the regulator. I cannot seem to get it to stay attached to the regulator; it pops out every time.
My Volvo guy fixed it once, and it seemed like all he did was slip the holder back into the blue clips---no serious repair, he just popped it back---but when I try and do that, it falls off! I'm just at my wits end. Is this a common problem? How might I fix it?

It is a common problem. The track gets bent out of shape. The best thing to do is to pick up a spare on eBay or through a friend: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Volvo-940-960-L ... e7&vxp=mtr
