Vide Dice Question: anyone have this setup issue?

I know this is not P2 specific but you guys seem pretty up on Vida Dice hacks.

I've installed VD a dozen times on PCs and VM for looking up data. The last two times I installed it on new laptops I cannot get it to allow me to login. There is a cursor present at the "Username" field and that name with my install is "1". But for some reason no matter what I do with the keyboard I cannot produce any characters. Get out of Vida/Explorer and the keyboard works fine.

Did you apply the patch before quitting the original Vida instal and then reboot? What version of Vida and where was it sourced? I suggest you head over to www.Volvoxc.com and find the VMplayer download of seven files. Just under 7GB of files to unzip, each file into the same directory and you end up with a version of Vida and Windows XC which runs as a virtual machine.

Thanks. I think you hit on something...I don't think the patch is applying.
