2000 v70 rough idle at cold start

No codes . I wish I could type the sound effect. sputter"s. Needs a little peddle to right it self. Than all is good.

On a new to me 2000 V70 I got in August I had a similar issue at first start. Swapped out the ETM and no more issues. Got a used one from Matty Moo.

If it is e.t.m. related would that explain why it revs up, settles down, then revs back up at constant pressure at 50% throttel

That does sound like a bad ETM symptom
