I have a 1996 850 GLT without the trip computer. Thus, I'm obviously unable to see my average/current MPG on the dash. I'm also unable to calculate my MPG on a tank of gas since I'm not able to fill up completely (according to my mechanic, my gas tank has swollen and the rubber ring at the fuel pump is unable to completely seal the tank) and I get heavy gas fumes when I fill the tank.
So I recently was looking into getting a code reader and picked up the Autel AL619 due to its ability to read/reset ABS/SRS. I've noticed that the ScanGauge2 can report MPG figures. Is this something the AL619 can't do? I don't see it listed in the "live data" section. Or is this due to my car not storing MPG figures due to not having the trip computer? If it's the AL619, does Torque show MPG on these cars?
