Hi all,
My 2004 V70 fan/blower gets very noisy and vibrates (dash and steering wheel) quite a bit above the #4 setting on the fan dial. The dealer suggested a cabin air filter change (which I did) and 'cleanout' (I stuck the shopvac hose up there as far as I could)...the noise and vibration continue. Any other ideas, or do you think this is a matter of swapping out the blower motor?
Thanks!

The only moment my blower was noisy and vibrating, is when the wired ceramic element around the rotor broke in pieces when I tried to remove the rotor to lube the bearings. If that's you case, you are in for a new motor (no need to purchase it with the resistor)
