2000 s40 (P1014) erratic idle won't level out to normal

P1014 undefined. Hello peers, my idle is unstable and won't drop below 1k rpm. Checked the vacuum hoses, no apparent leaks. Just a steady flow from 1500 to 2500 rpms and not sure if I have a bad sensor. It is loud and pulls my car forward like throttle is stuck. All help appreciated. 240k miles. Thanks. Only code it throws is P1014 undefined.

this reving is out of control and causing my car to overheat. i need to be pointed in right direction, please help.
