2006 V70 Looking to purchase

It's time to retire my '98 and I am looking at a few newer models. Any help from the forum please.

Just looked at the one in Charlotte. The dip stick smokes and he can't say if TB has been changed. It's got 177,000 on it, so I would think if it hadn't, it would of gone by now.
Any thoughts?

Expand on your thoughts flunky. Did not see a PM. Just came back from another view of the Charlotte V70, took the Misses with me. Drove and rode just like the 06 I have EXCEPT, it is in need of axles. If that is what the shimmy under load would be. Still might go see the other, it is just 2 hours away.

$5000 for a 180k miles vehicle? I won't spend more than two grands on such high miles car, no matter how well it looks inside. The one on Greeville I don't like much the seller's description, and he did play with the turbo and perhaps other things. If it's that expensive, come here in Canada, a 100k miles will ask about $5000 canadian (or $4000 usd)
