Hello,
Hoping that someone might be able to help me. I have a V70, and last weekend the locks in the lift gate, rear doors (r and l) and fuel door stopped working. They will not work with the door lock inside the car, fuel door button, or the unlock on the key. The front doors (r and l) still work fine both inside the car and with the key. Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks.

May not be relevant but I had an odd situation where the tail gate wouldn't open from outside...it turned out I had closed it and something in the boot was pushing against the back of the tail gate. Removed the obstruction and it opened but was a bit odd.
Have you checked for blown fuses? Is anything else not working, sunroof, auto dim mirror etc.?
If you can get the tailgate open,I don't know if there is an inside release handle which it sounds like you can't, Murphy's Law in action, I would disconnect the battery, following the procedures outlined on the forum, reconnect battery and then try the remote. Every time I had an odd electrical issue so far, this solved it.

After researching what each fuse controls, turns out there is a central locking system fuse that controls rear doors, lift gate, and fuel hatch. For some reason that fuse had blown. Replaced it and everything is back to normal and saved a diagnostic trip to the shop.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I had a situation where the fuse kept blowing (very inconvenient at the gas station). Turned out to be damaged/shorting tailgate wiring in the LH tailgate hinge which is a very common problem.
