Interior light bulb sizes? Dome, reading, trunk, etc
I have searched everywhere and I can't seem to find the bulb sizes for the interior lights on a 1998 V70. Looking for footwell, dome, rear reading and the trunk lights. Anyone know the sizes? I apologize if this has been covered, but I am stumped.

They are unique and the only places that I know of where they can be found are the stealership or IPD. They are brutally expensive at the dealership.

You know a lot about volvos, but you're wrong in this.
For my 850 Wagon.
Wagon trunk (don't know about sedan). 8SMD

Rear passenger light and glove box light is positive on the housing and negative in the center, doesn't work with the LED.
Not sure about the bulbs for the door red lights since I didn't take it apart.
I'm gonna try this for the rear passenger lights.

You can tell which have LED and which have old light bulbs.

I found some non polarity ba9s lights that I am going to try for the rear reading lights. I will let you know if they work.

My bad, I was thinking of the 850 dome lights. They are a really weird axial lead lamp that I have never been able to cross. The courtesy lights for the doors are a standard wedge base lamp that I think I can buy at about any auto parts store.

Just an update...
I got the LED rear reading lights (non polarity) from the place I posted above and they work great. They came from Japan, but made it here relatively quickly and were only about $4 for two. Let me know if you need more details.
