1999 S70 Window Regulator Replacement

Post by mjsteps »

Okay so I was able to remove the regulator with some degree of difficulty i.e lack of room. But when I attempted to install new regulator having a difficult time trying to attach regulator to green clips because of the angle of the assembly. Anyone with any tips, tricks.

Is the regulator in the partially rolled down position so that you can get to the clips through the access holes? If you try to do it with the window all the way down it won't really work.

Yes I tried but the angle seems to prevent the roller clips from locking on to the arms of the regulator, in turn both round plastic pieces broke which prevented lock clip from seating correctly. New roller clips coming today so will attempt once again.
