Recently replaced: timing belt (at 147,000 miles, before I bought it), spark plugs, plug wires, ignition cap and rotor, ABS computer, underhood vacuum lines. I replaced the odometer gears, but the mileage is accurate because I got it from the computer and ran the odometer forward before I reinstalled it.
Steering and suspension feel good, though I don't know when/if anything has been replaced on them. The boots on both ball joints are cracked. The drive axles look good.
Paint is faded and the front fenders and hood have clear coat which is peeling on the hood. The rest of the car isn't clear coated.
Power antenna doesn't work so there is no radio reception; CD player doesn't work; cassette player works fine. A few dash lights are out, one in the instrument panel itself.
Headliner is coming off, needs replacement. The interior is fair -- no rips but the driver's seat is worn on the edge. Console cover is sun damaged. Missing a few interior trim pieces. Car was smoked in before I got it and I've just been letting it air out but it is still noticeable if it's been closed up -- I haven't tried any special cleaning for that.
Just started getting an intermittent PO172 DTC with CEL.
Tires are OK for now but need replacement soon and are out of balance enough to vibrate at 65-70 mph. Comes with two extra Volans unless I sell them before the car sells.
No leaks that I've noticed and the engine is fairly clean. Doesn't use oil in the driving I do (20 miles per day commute at 65 mph).
