Does this tube get sucked in because of p0237?

Post by MilwaukeeV70owner »

Hey
my 2000 xc70 70 is giving me p0013 and p0237. About 3 months ago I put in a new ipd heavy duty control valve & everything has been working fine, but the other day, it would start but I couldn't move (stomping on gas moves needle to 1500 rpm). Also my charged air pipe was collapsed like it was sucking too much air (see picture). Do I have a bad tcv, or is this a map sensor problem, or is this related to the cvvt solonoid that I replaced a month ago (I am assuming that's where my p0013 comes from)?

Your intercooler has accumulated condensation (water) and it froze and obstructed intercooler.

So do I just need a heat gun to be up and running again?

Heat gun is probably to aggressive. Just a passive heat source will be good. The intercooler is between the radiator and AC condenser. Once warmed up, make sure the small hole in the bottom of it is clear.
