Hi,
I'm trying to get a look in my IAC to see if it's gummed up. I'm having trouble when the car starts keeping an idle (it wants to cut out due to low revs)....I need to rev the engine for a bout 3 mins until "normal" idle kicks in.
Can anyone tell me how to remove this clamp? Or should I just "break" it off and use a new clamp after cleaning?
Thanks,

First, remove iac from the car and then twist & pull the hoses at the same time, they will come off.

You can always cut the old ones and install the new clamps.

Sometimes you can spread it out enough with a screwdriver to get it to come off but usually you need to break it off. I use a Dremel tool with a cutoff disc to slice through it. You can either replace it with another Oetiker clamp if you have the crimp tool or just use a standard hose clamp.

Thanks so much guys.
I'll try tomorrow to twist / pull and get a couple of new clamps.
Always appreciate the help on these forums.
