Folks -
I've been poking around and haven't found any information about if a 122s Wagon is able to tow a small boat or trailer. I've seen them with hitches installed, and seen pics of them towing "canned ham" or teardrop trailers, but would like to know specifics. Based on the vehicle weight, it *seems* like it *could* tow a trailer of ~1600 # or so.
I am well aware of the mechanical limits that a vehicle of this age would have, even if it's in the best of shape. Yet, I'm thinking it *should* be able to tow something like a small pop up tent trailer. Feedback???

1600 pounds is not a light trailer, that's a decent load
A small boat will be about 500 pounds, which should be ok

One would need frame mounted hitch, but considering how old vehicle is, forget it.
