2004 v70 Flushing Power Steering System

I recently topped up my power steering with ATF, as per the manual. I have since learned that I should have used Pentosin. Additionally, the pump is making more noise and the fluid looks a little "funny". I would like to drain it and replace it with 100% Pentosin. Any suggestions on how to do that?

I just used the pump off an old shampoo bottle to suck most of the fluid out of the reservoir and refilled it. I repeated this a couple of times to switch out the fluid nearly completely.

That is what I was thinking, I have a vacuum bottle kit for one man brake bleeding. I wasn't sure if the reservoir was simply a reservoir, but having two hoses I assumed fluid was constantly passed through it for cooling, or some other purpose.

Actually you can just free the two hoses running from the reservoir and pull up the reservoir and just pour the fluid from it, it works. If you intend to also remove the coolant reservoir, I recommend unplugging the level sensor because the sensor wire is short and it breaks easily (causing a low level message).
