1995 850 T5 R --> How much is it worth?

I came across this eBay ad, and wow, it's pricy.

My question is: is it worth $7.5K?

Also, the "un-molested" tag is off-putting; wrong calificative, right?

That black paint looks super nice and the interior looks to be in the same condition. the act was obviously cared for during the last 20 years and detailed perfectly for the sale.

If the ad said the car had a new evaporator and any mention of the RMS being replaced in the recent service history I'd say very close to the number he is asking. If this was always a CA car that helps a lot compared to what's offered in the NE US. It should be nice underneath regardless of the mileage. One other area I'd like to see done for this kind of asking price is all the suspension bits. The newer Nivomats are expensive (I did those on my 96 PE 855). But there are a lot of places that can make the car sloppy handling that need replacing by this mileage.

In the last year or so a Yellow 855 T5R came up with what could have been called a "light" restoration for around $9500 as I recall. That car is rarer and it was super nice. If you are looking for a 95 855 T5R in any color they are $3-4000 more than an equally nice T5 IMHO. Rarity does have its price:)

Yes, it worth that asking price, even at 200,000 miles!

I expect that car will sell at that price. Not that I would pay it, but I expect someone will. California cars usually age verrrrry slowly, especially in the SF bay area.

I agree, calling it "un-molested" has some attitude, simply saying "stock" would convey the same message.

"unmolested" is a good thing to see in an ad. It means the seller knows cars (and thus the term), and that the car is stock.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Unmolested does mean "sexually unassulted", similar to "unraped". I don't know, but it's not something I would advertise. It's just that it reads different than what he meant.

Never mind, I'm slowly turning into a grammar nazi.

My educated guess tells me that there are probably 33 855 yellow T-5R's and probably around 45 855 black T-5R's so the numbers are getting closer and people are crushing black ones at a faster rate than the yellow.

There is a FB page dedicated to the registration of the T-5R's but I'm sure they are not close to having the participation they'd like.
