I think I have maybe five of those at this point.jreed wrote:Ha ha!! Yes, I agree... When I got home and went through my boxes, I found I already had two other IAC valves harvested during a previous trip, plus the original IAC that I took off of my car a few months ago, saved in case I need a component from it.
I find myself collecting things that I had needed at one point, usually for diagnostics.
The funny thing is, they are not usually the issue.
It is good to come across a good ECC unit in the '95 to '98 range. Grab 103 relays.
You never know when you may find a car that has been given up upon with low mileage, or freshly replaced parts?
I keep looking. Of course I have started hoarding this series of car.
I am happy with the '96 Turbo Wagon as the daily driver, the 93 GLT N/A as the original learning experience and stand-by driver.
So having two projects for this summer, being the Black T-5R, and the '98 V70 XC-Cross Country, I know many of the little things, as well as larger will find use.
I don't know what happened first though?
Did I start hoarding parts as a way to more cars?
Or the opposite.
I have not been professionally diagnosed.
Could this indicate a problem?
