'99 S70 -- Back Seat Removal

I'm sure this is incredibly intuitive, but I'm just not feeling it. I've got to swap out the rear seat in my S70, but can't figure out how it is mounted to the car. Any tips/pointers out there for pulling an S70 rear seat? Thanks again.

Had to go refresh my memory on this. You pull up on the front of the lower seat cushion, and it should lift up from the catches and then slide out.

The backrests need to be un-latched from the upper latches and then there is a catch on the inner rear wheel arch on either side which needs to be raised allowing the backrests to slide inward to allow removal. Don't have a car to take photos of the process. Info courtesy of a well known DIY manual that is useless for most things, but may have finally found a sue for!

I was slightly wrong on this part for the backrest removal. The rear seats have a catch accessed from the trunk side, and this needs to be in the raised position.

Then having released the backrests using the inner latch on the top of the backrest, you need to slide the seat to the OUTSIDE of the car and lift at the same time to allow the pin to release and allow the seat to be lifted up and out.
