1999 v70r rack and pinion leaking from seal

i have seen a post on here about this from before. one of the members had posted a link with pictures and info about replacing the o-ring on the passenger side of the rack and pinion. i was wondering if this could be done on a 1999 v70r wagon. i dont have money to replace the whole rack so any help would be appreciated thank you in advance.

Try a bottle of PS fluid "thickener" first. It won't fix the leak forever, but it might tide you over until the car has bigger, more expensive problems that aren't worth fixing. (Or until you've got the money to replace the rack.)
