1994 Volvo 940 base wagon in NYC 2000 USD

Hi Folks,
I have a 940 wagon that I want to get rid off in New York. I'd love to have someone who likes Volvos to buy it. It's a fantastic car and it makes me sad to sell it...send me a PM, please.

It is a 1994 Volvo 940 base Wagon, automatic shift, white, beige cloth interior, has the children seats in the trunk - the plastic is not broken, californian car w/o rust, 199k miles, 2 owners, all maintenance and repair receipts, brakes recently done, 2nd timing belt, engine healthy. I just drove this car from San Francisco to New York without any problem.
6 month ago installed new heater valve, the only trouble I had in 20k miles of ownership. Also new OEM spark plugs and wires (And a 'new' used ignition coil. Mine failed simultaneously to the wires which confused me a lot, the episode can be read in a posting in the forum I believe..).
Issues: Fuel gauge mostly not working and sometimes rpm tach acts up. Medium sized ding in lower part of front passenger side door w/o rust. Should get new tie rods at some point.
Passed smog one year ago when purchased. Registered in CA until 9/2015.
I need to get rid of this great Volvo as I am moving to New York.
I am thinking of 2000 dollars.
