Hi,
the tape player in my car stopped working a while ago and when I finally got around to taking a look I discovered that one of the small gears was ground down. Does anyone know where I might find one of these gears? My guess is nowhere, unless I buy another tape player. From what I can tell, it's a lot easier to find tape players from later models like the 850... I know this is kind of insane, but does anyone know if the basic tape mechanism is the same in these later models? I'm wondering if I could harvest a gear... If not, will one of these later models fit into my '92 240?

3D printing will be the solution, unless there is a JY find
