1994 850 M Tachometer

Post by shaker_chi »

Last week I was coming home from work and my car suddenly died. It started right back up, but died again. I coasted to the side of the road and when I popped my hoods the wire to the ignition coil looked like it exploded. I had tools in my trunk so I cut it back, stripped the end off and plugged it straight into the coil so I could drive the last mile to get home. Since then, my tachometer has not worked. Any thought on: 1. How the ignition wire exploded 2. How do I get the tachometer to work.

Thanks.............Eddie G
