1994 Volvo 850 T5 Intermittant Stalling

Hi
I have a 1994 Volvo 850 T5 Estate (Auto) which has recently thrown an Amber warning light on the dashboard with a Green Triangle inside , since this has appeared when the engine is warm and ticking over its 'hunting' to find a tickover speed and intermittantly it cuts out when coming to a halt.

Any ideas?
