1995 850 Coin Holder Bulb Removal

Hey All,
I'm having a problem with the removal of my 850 coin holder bulb. I have tried to wiggle, pull, shove it out but am having no success - can't figure out how to get the stupid thing out. I searched the repair data base for a write-up, but didn't find anything specific. If there is a write-up already, a link would be awesome.

I think that one gets real easy if you remove the ash tray assembly. As I recall there are two T-15 torx screws that hold the ash tray assembly in but be a bit careful when removing it. The attenuators that ride on the ash tray tracks snap into the sides of the ash tray assembly and they are typically very brittle and they are easy to break off.

Thanks for the reply. I had already pulled the ash tray/coin holder out and by reaching up under the plastic I can feel the bulb wire connector, which I pulled off the bulb, but the bulb itself is still in its housing up under the plastic framework on the lower dash. Can't figure out how to remove the bulb from its housing.

As I recall on that one the bulb and the socket slide into a metal hood. To remove the bulb just grab the socket and yank it out of the hood. The hood, again as I recall so don't take it to the bank, is more or less permanently fixed into the dash.
