Under 140,000, everything in engine works well. Non essential parts I have let slide. Couple dents, nothing major. Transmission will not shift into 4th gear, Have tried all the tricks, needs a transmission. Have you got a transmission, can you repair the transmission, do you want to buy the car? I use it around town all the time. Works great except for that 4th gear.

They can be rebuilt but that is the most expensive route. There are good used transmissions all over the place in the $300.00 to $500.00 range but you will need to be careful when you buy it to get the proper replacement. For your car it will need to be a '93 to '95 to be a direct swap. The speed sensor and the input speed sensors changed after '95.
Have you done any diagnostics on it? Any codes from port A-1?
Here are some diagnostic procedures.

I spent a couple of years diagnosing this tank, and 3 different mechanics have diagnosed it. All other systems are now clear, new sensors etc... The tranny has been flushed, power flushed, and works great but no 4th gear. Is any one interested in buying a project like this?

So I replaced the battery and now the front brakes are squealing a little, probably from sitting all winter, so $600. You can drive it home if you don't go on the highway...
