Post by thaedge »

Hey all, Do I need the O2 sensor adapter for my car 1998 xcv70? It doesn't have one, but I need to replace the rear O2 sensor. Also, what wires does the adapter swap?

98 is a maybe but it would be a good idea. It doesn't swap wires, it stops oil migration from the crankcase vent nipple heater down to the oxygen sensor. The oil will foul the ceramic tip and kill O2 sensor.
