2000 V70 rear speakers 6 and 8 Ohms at the same time

Post by EstVolvo »

One of the rear speakers has been making squeaky sound.
The speaker cone (that seems to be made out of cardboard) has been wet at some point in its life.
Speakers seem to be original.
Speakers have 6 and 8 Ohms labels at the same time...
With a tester the speaker measures about 4.9 Ohms.
Why is there a Volvo label that doesn't match the speaker?
Cost cutting?
6 Ohms is better than 8 Ohms?
Any ideas?
