abs unit help

My old abs connector melted down and i purchased another wire connector from another 850 but 4 wires dont match up what do i do? Can i still install the wire with out the use of those 4 and it still work properly or?

What Matty is trying to say is match the wires pin for pin on the connector, irrespective of the color of the wires. If four wires aren't hooked up it won't work.

That's what I meant. Example... If you have a pink wire on your old harness and on the new one it's orange at the same pin then hook it up.
