97 850GLT Error code 414

I cleaned the temperature sensor with air and small brush, cleared code but it returned. Code 414 refers to a temperature sensor inlet fan being seized. Where is this fan located? Can it be removed for proper cleaning or replacement. Thanks for your help. Best regards, wlutz.

I am making an assumption that you read the climate unit codes with a flash code reader. Assuming that is correct, the fan in question is inside the temp sensor which is by the grab bar on the left hand side of the car. You get to the fan before you get to the sensor.

My bad, the fan is behind the sensor. It is visible in the picture though, you can see the blades in that picture but yours may be obscured by lint.

I again removed the cover and blew compressed air into the opening. Then I focused my flashlight at the opening and started the car (ECC set to auto). The fan is clearly visible on engine start, stop, and while the engine runs. Thanks again for your help. Regards, wlutz.
