1990 740GL lamp warning

Is there something I should check besides all the bulbs and grounds at the rear? My warning light comes on every time I hit the brakes. All the bulbs were old, so I bought all new. Same thing. Checked the grounds and they are solid, negligible voltage drop.

Nevermind... didn't check the 3rd eye brake light. Bulb bad

OK. Now that all the bulbs are matched pairs and working, the warning light is on ALL the time even when the lights are off. Any suggestions?

Pulled it and made sure all the contact pins were clean, found out that of I smack the side of the console about level with the relays, the light goes off until power is off then on. Something in the relay sticking...grrr
