2005 xc70 steering issue

Hi back again right the steering on this car work fine ,but from time to time it pulls as you steer as if it want to steer its self its light but then it just pulls as if there is something not quite right your thoughts would be appreciated.

You need to work backwards.
Tires and alignment come first along with a COMPLETE check of the front suspension.
If everything there is new or nearly new then what's left is a bad steering rack
